The Luce rinse out gloss from Oscar Blandi is for both chemically treated hair and virgin hair. It nourishes hair while adding shine, combability and protection from harsh environmental conditions. Instructions are to shampoo and condition hair as normal, then towel dry and comb hair before adding the product. Leave on for 3-10 minutes, rinse with luke warm water.
I’ve used this product twice now, once a month. I would use it weekly (as suggested) if it was less of a production. The second time I used it I rung out my hair after shampooing and conditioning; combed the product through and continued to shower, leaving the product on for 10 minutes. The product performed the same way when I improvised as it did when I followed exact instructions. Results have been great both times. My hair felt softer and looked shiner. It is well worth the $25.
I am currently in a faux fur phase. Since I don’t feel it’s appropriate to wear my faux fur coat or vest to work I thought an accent piece seemed to be the way to go. I found this scarf from Illusion on sale on for $9. It’s well made, there isn’t any shedding and it does not look cheap. A hidden slit that keeps the scarf securely wrapped is a smart design. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect since I bought it online. Not only does this piece instantly dress up any outfit but it’s also very warm around my neck.
Jeffrey Campbell is currently one of my favorite shoe designers. I’ve had my eye on these snake skin 99 wedged booties for quite some time now. My size was sold out of every online retail store that stocked them. I ended up winning them on ebay brand new for 40% off the retail price, I was thrilled. They are really comfortable, easy to walk in and make a simple black outfit look even more chic.
I love wearing skirts to work. The office dress code is casual but seeing how I have a fashion blog and my wardrobe is always current with the latest trends, I can not fail and must always look my best. One of my favorite outfits this week included a flowered draped skirt from Orion – London that I had yet to wear. It truly is a flattering, gorgeous, silky skirt. I paired it with a dark green draped top from Super Trash, a black cropped blazer from Antroplogie, black tights and black oxfords from Steve Madden.
This product is a bit unusual. I’ve been using it for over a month now, applying the product at night after I’ve washed my face (as instructed). I am an avid retinol user which is also one of the main ingredients. I’ve only ever tried the 3% solution, however, there is a higher concentrate but I am not interested in having a peeling dry face for 3-5 days. In this case the 3% lightly exfoliates your skin, clearing up blemishes and fading brown spots and freckles. It’s a product worth testing if you have acne and/or skin discolorations. My skin always looks so clear and has a nice glow to it when I wake up. It’s very inexpensive at $12 and worth a test.
