Boho Chic

Its been a while since I’ve blogged about an outfit. I crashed on my mountain bike and wasn’t feeling very sexy for a couple of weeks while I waited to heal. I had gouged a hole in my right arm and badly bruised the entire right side of my body. Thankfully, I didn’t break anything. I feel pretty lucky considering the circumstance.

Lately, I just can’t seem to get enough of my Guido & Mary high waisted flared jeans. Not only are they extremely comfortable but they are also really fun to mix and match different tops, shoes and accessories with. Every time I try something new with these jeans, I feel even more boho chic than the last time. It’s so much fun to play with different looks, I really enjoy the creative process.

I love wearing straw hats in the summer and this large rimmed paper straw hat from Jcrew is a prefect accessory for a boho chic look. A fabulous hat that also saves my face from sun damage, it doesn’t get any better than that!

These retro sandals are from Frye and are the prefect height (2 inches) for my jeans. I also really love the color.

I found this belt at a boutique on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland and instantly fell in love. It is weaved which allows me to tighten the belt appropriately; whether it’s on or above my waist. I’ve worn it with jeans, dresses and skirts; it’s quite versatile.

This Tano zipper purse is one of my favorite purses right now. Not only is it large enough to carry just about everything I need, but it is also a gorgeous color that goes with just about everything I own. I waited several months for this purse to go on sale; it was originally close to $300 and I purchased it for $99.

I love that I already own plenty of boho style pieces to make up this fantastic outfit. I am wearing my Pure and Simple top, a scarf I bought at Urban Outfitters years ago, tan and orange bangles and white feather earrings.
This outfit is definitely going to be archived in my favorites!
