I can’t praise Free People enough but what I love even more is finding their clothing at a really low price. I don’t feel good about shopping as much as I do unless I find a superb deal. Continue reading Cheap find of the week – Free People thermal trinket henley
Ever since I discovered the funky, multi-colored wallet I just had to see what else this brand came up with. After perusing the internet (Portland does not have a Skunkfunk boutique), I found this stripe olive tank top blouse. Continue reading Skunkfunk puts the funk in a tank

This week’s recipe is Italian chicken sausage cooked in a red bell pepper sauce with chopped broccoli, sliced bell peppers and brown rice, served with a side herb salad. Another healthy, tasty meal under 30 minutes.
Free People clothing inspires me, I admire how they take a piece of clothing that is normally boring and put a funky, artistic spin on it. They are known for their renowned use of floral and faunal leitmotivs throughout their line. The pieces are reminiscent of boho-chic styles, and are somewhat quirky, designed for the eclectic, free-spirited woman.
This week’s recipe is chicken breast cooked in a sauce with madras lentil over brown rice, garlic tandoori naan & herb salad. It’s guaranteed to get your taste buds rolling and your stomach full. A day of perusing our local hip area to shop led to me to a little boutique filled with soft cozy lounge clothing, sweet smelling lotions and many other items that I was pleasantly surprised to see. Among some of those items were 3 different really hip, funky, multi-colored wallets from a company called Skunkfunk.
Besides taking a multi vitamin and calcium, I have always recommended taking a probiotic supplement as well. Probiotics improve intestinal balance, thus inhibiting pathogens and toxic bacteria. Basically a healthy intestinal system means better absorption of nutrients which in turn equals better health. Continue reading Probiotics – a supplement worth taking
