I absolutely adore this woven coat.
This is my first navajo printed coat and I was actually surprised by how easy it was for me to pair an outfit around it. Initially, I wasn’t so sure I could pull off a “southwestern” look – it’s a little out of my norm style wise. However, this coat from Sam Edelman has a modern fitted look that looks incredible with a pair of skinny jeans and a spread lapel that looks amazing open or buttoned up (giving it it’s wrapped look). This is truly a well thought out coat.
It’s fully lined in the inside, has button tab details at the shoulders, flap pockets at the waist with button closures, an optional belt, tonal top stitching, panel seaming and front button closures. This coat is 40% wool, 54% polyester, and 6% others. 100% polyester lining. Nice and warm for the cooler winter months in the Bay Area.
My favorite outfit pairing for the coat is brown booties with skinny jeans and a solid light colored top. This coat takes a basic outfit up a serious notch style wise.
I am a huge fan of Sam Edelman shoes – primarily booties, flats and sandals, so it was a nice surprise to own a coat I love just as much as the shoes.
I am wearing my usual size XS (0-2).
