Swagger: A demeanor of confidence, coolness, style, and togetherness. Someone with Swagger gives of an ora of comfortability with his/her self. Swagger is commonly referred to as Swag or Swagga.
A couple of days ago in an elevator I was told I had swagger. This came from an older gentleman whom I’ve casually ridden the elevator with a number of times now in my office building. Apparently, I have a reputation in the building for having incredible style and confidence. This was the first I’ve heard about this and am very flattered. So I thought it would be fitting to name this post, Swagger. Especially since I was wearing this outfit on that day.
I recently purchased this gorgeous black Muubaa Lyra leather jacket and was eager to show it off. It’s an ultra-fitted feminine biker leather jacket with skinny jersey backed sleeves, exposed zips, a poppered collar, a zipped pocket on the sleeve and zipped back vents. It’s ridiculously cute and goes with just about everything I own.
Muubaa jackets run true to size unless you have broad shoulders. I have narrow shoulders and am wearing my usual US size 2. I own 4 Muubaa leather jackets (click here and here for my previous posts) and all but one are a US size 2. I sized up to a US size 4 on one of the jackets so I could wear it cycling around town. The US size 2 jackets fit the best but are too constrictive on my bicycle when reaching for my handle bars. Sadly, I ripped one of my jackets along the left shoulder seam while riding. Thankfully, it was repairable by a leather garment specialist and is not noticeable.
Since black and white is all the rage, and it was a casual work day, I kept my outfit basic adding a little bit of edge. Just the way I like it.
