It’s no surprise that a fairly large portion of my life consists of sitting in a saddle, either pedaling for pure enjoyment and/or a purpose. I prefer just the pure enjoyment bit, but a lot of times it’s either to the office, an off site work meeting and/or an appointment where changing is really not an option. My boyfriend, Jason (Betabrand Photographer and Bike to Work Pants Advocate) had given me in the inside scoop that Betabrand was coming out with a Women’s Bike to Work Pants line.
I was thrilled the women were equally going to be given the opportunity to sport the bike to work pants. Functional trousers with a reinforced crotch, a higher back rise for coverage, and a subtle stretchiness for better mobility. Not to mention the reflective cuffs and rear V-flap pullout. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to style and model a few looks.
The first look is typical bay area business casual. I paired the trousers with a pair of booties from Luxury Rebel and a stripe black and white top from French Connection. Simplicity at its best.
The second look is more of a running around town kind of outfit. Thankfully, I am able to get away with wearing this to my office (and most can with a relaxed office dress code).
